CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Wanda Aileen McKeehan Adams, 2 Sep 2002 ----¤¤¤---- Wanda A. Adams Mrs. Wanda Aileen McKeehan Adams, 80, of Elizabethton, died Monday, September 2, 2002, at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Lynn and Robin Adams, 143 Lynnwood Avenue, Elizabethton. Mrs. Adams was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Thomas O. and Mildred Simerly McKeehan. Mrs. Adams was a graduate of Happy Valley High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to her son, include her husband, James Thurman Adams; two sisters, Dorothy Clement, Johnson City, and Maxine Little, Elizabethton; a grandson, Kevin Lynn Adams; a granddaughter, Melissa D. Adams; and a stepgranddaughter, Victoria A. Bryant. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. ADAMS -- Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Aileen McKeehan Adams, 80, of Elizabethton, who died Monday, September 2, 2002, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy Johnson, the Rev. Roy Prendergrass and the Rev. Jonas Revis officiating. Music will be provided by Ben Johnson and Mrs. Pat Ray. Interment will be at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday, will be Kevin Adams, John Clement, Jeff Clement, Ronnie Nave, Danny Little, Ray Flynn, Scott Pendergrass and Rick Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Clement, Mark Clement, Allen Little, Don Sanford, Bob Davis, Carl Nave and Charles Ailsworth.
