Charles O. Angell

Charles O. Angell, 82, formerly of Shell Creek, died Sunday, January 
5, 2003, in Davenport, Iowa.
Mr. Angell was a son of the late Rev. William and Margaret Oliver 
Angell. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Sylvia Angell, 
Laura Ellis and Martha Pippin.
Mr. Angell retired from the U.S. Army. He was severely wounded in 
combat in France during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Fox Angell, Iowa City, Iowa; a son, 
Charles Angell, Coral Gables, Fla.; a sister, Hazel Pratt, Dade City, 
Fla.; two nieces, Jeanne Bishop and Margaret Ellis, both of Johnson 
City; and a nephew, Bill Ellis, Johnson City.
Private services will be held in Iowa City, Iowa.
