Paul H. Arnett

Paul H. Arnett, age 89, of Holman Mill Road, Cumberland, Virginia, 
died Sunday, June 29, 2003 in the Colonial Heights Convalescence Center, 
Colonial Heights, Va.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late James S. and Phebe 
Richardson Arnett.
He was a retired carpenter.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Arnett was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Simerly Arnett.
Survivors include four daughters, Shirley Anderson, of Hopewell, Va.; 
Betty McNeil and Margie Walsh, both of Hampton, and Helen Carter, of 
Appomatax, Va.; seven sons, R.J. Arnett and Douglas Arnett, both of 
Cumberland, Va.; Randy Arnett, of Richmond, Va.; Cecil Arnett, of 
Rockport, Texas; Sam Arnett, Andy Arnett, and Bobby Arnett, all of 
Hampton; 21 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

ARNETT -- Graveside services for Paul H. Arnett, age 89, of Holman 
Mill Road, Cumberland, Virginia, who died Sunday, June 29, 2003, will 
be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2003 in the Bennett Cemetery, 
Dennis Cove, Hampton, with the Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Family 
and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday.
