Bradshaw Thomas R. Bradshaw, 93, formerly of 500 West Mill Street, Elizabethton, died Friday, August 18, 2006, at Hermitage Health Center after an extended illness. Mr. Bradshaw was a native of Carter County and the son of the late William and Madge Deloach Bradshaw. Mr. Bradshaw attended First Free Will Baptist Church of Elizabethton. He was an employee of North American Rayon Corporation for over 40 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Berdie Barnett Bradshaw, February 3, 1984. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Bradshaw White; a grandson, Stephen Rasnick; four sisters, Laura Noel, Rachel Bradshaw, Ina Maude Bradshaw and Grace Katherine Campbell; three brothers, George Elbert Bradshaw, John Ed Bradshaw and James Bradshaw; and two sons-in-law, Howell Rasnick and Lewis White. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Dorothy Rasnick, Watauga, and Rita and Tim Holtsclaw, Hampton, and a son and daughter-in-law, James "Sam" and Jeannette Bradshaw, Elizabethton. Eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service for Mr. Bradshaw will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 20, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with the Rev. Nick Bradshaw officiating. Music will be under the direction of JoAnn Campbell, pianist, and James "Bo" Campbell, soloist. The graveside service and interment will be Sunday, following the service, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Tommy Range, Daniel Range, Allen Rasnick, Thomas Ledford, Drew Barker and Brad Barker. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service. Those who prefer may make memorial donations to the First Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 706 First Street, Elizabethton TN 37643. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hermitage Health Center for their loving care of Mr. Bradshaw.
