Boyd B. Bryant 





    MURRELLS INLET, S.C. -- Boyd Brooks Bryant of Myrtle Beach, S.C., died 

Wednesday, March 15, 2006, in South Carolina. 





    Born January 6, 1937 in Hampton, Tenn., he was the son of the late James 

and Ida Mae Boyd Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Lee 

Bryant. 





    Mr. Bryant was a retired Police Officer from Washington, D.C. He was a 

member of the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Police. 





    Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Smith; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie 

and Anthony Troutman of Tennessee and Mary Ann and Doug Riley of Maryland; 

grandchildren, Allison Hill, Cyndie Troutman, April and Chris Riley; great-

grandchildren, Izaak and Avery Hill; and a sister, Juanita McBride of Virginia. 





    Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at Goldfinch 

Funeral Home, Murrells Inlet. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes 

Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22088-1131. Sign guestbook at
