GENEVA HOLDER BUTNER 



SPRUCE PINE - Geneva Holder Butner, 83, of U.S. Hwy. 19E, died Friday, Sept. 

28, 2007 at her home. A native of Carter County, Tenn., she was the daughter 

of the late Cordie Roberts and Roy Holder.



Survivors include a daughter, Judy Cooke of the home; two sisters, Jeanette 

Huskins of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Bernice Asher of Elizabethton, Tenn.; 

three granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters. 



Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Crabtree Chapel Baptist 

Church. The Revs. Dallas Renfro and Fred Proctor officiated. Burial was in the 

church cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Webb 

Funeral Home in Spruce Pine.
