Barry 07/08/99 Mrs. Beryl Grindstaff Barry, 86, 371 H. Heaton Road, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, at Pine Ridge Care Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Barry was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Rod and Annie Jane Peters Grindstaff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Barry, in 1978, a son, Kenneth Berry, and three sisters, Bernice Taylor, Eunice Taylor and Lena Square. Mrs. Barry was a member of East Side Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include three grandsons, Keith Berry, Mountain City, Randy Berry, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Brian Berry, Elizabethton; two great- grandchildren, Carrie Morgan and Jason Berry; and a great-great-grandson, Nathan Morgan. S\everal nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. BARRY -- Funeral services for Mrs. Beryl Grindstaff Barry, 86, 371 H. Heaton Road, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dennis Wilson officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
