Stanley J. Blevins

   Stanley J. Blevins, 71, 260 Bulldog Hollow Road, Elizabethton, died 
Wednesday, November 22, 2000, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an 
extended illness.
   Mr. Blevins was a native of Carter County and the son of the late 
Josie Blevins. He was also preceded in death by a sister.
   Mr. Blevins was a construction worker.
   Survivors include one niece, Nancy Harper, Elizabethton; three 
nephews, Charles Grindstaff, James Grindstaff and Roger Grindstaff, 
all of Elizabethton; and a special friend, Margaret Garland, 
Elizabethton.

   BLEVINS -- Funeral services for Stanley J. Blevins, 71, 260 Bulldog 
Hollow Road, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, November 22, 2000, 
will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, November 25, at Tetrick Funeral 
Home, Riverside Chapel, with the Rev. Eric Wright officiating. Final 
disposition will be at a later date. The family will receive friends 
from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. For those who prefer 
memorials in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mr. 
Blevins to the Carter County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 682, Elizabethton,
