CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Nola B. Brown Bowman, 10 Jul 2004

Nola B. Brown Bowman, 74, Second Street, Elizabethton, died Saturday, 
July 10, 2004, at Life Care Center of Greeneville.

Mrs. Bowman was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late 
James H. and Martha Roberts Brown. In addition to her parents, she was 
preceded in death by three brothers, William H. Brown, Jessee Brown and 
infant Robert Brown, and three sisters, Pauline Tolley, Christine Vance 
and Mae Vance.

Mrs. Bowman was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer Bowman, of Georgia, and three sisters 
and a brother-in-law, Geneva Vance, Chuckey, Judy Faye and Calvin Ward, 
Chuckey, and Lorane Janice Hurst, Sevierville.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Monte 
Vista Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Artie Erwin, Timmy Tolley, 
Steven Tolley, Adam Ward, Jeff Vanhoy and Joe Jones. Honorary pallbearers 
will be Kent Ward, Chris Ward, Randy Tolley, Patrick Hurst, Ricky Hurst, 
Clifford Barnes, Bobby Vance, Danny Vance and Cecil Vance. The family 
will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 12, at Dillow-Taylor 
Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the Bowman family online at
