CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Robert "Bob" H. Bradley, 14 Nov 2002 ----¤¤¤---- Robert H. Bradley Robert "Bob" H. Bradley, 76, 1477 Southside Road, Elizabethton, died Thursday, November 14, 2002, at Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Bradley was a native of Carter County and the son of the late William "Bill" and Litha Mae McCloud Bradley. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Jeff Bradley, and a brother, Bill Bradley. Mr. Bradley was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation and a member of Southside Christian Church, Elizabethton, where he served as Elder for many years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Ollie Carr Bradley, of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Ann Bradley, Randy and Linda Bradley and Sandy and Virginia Bradley, all of Elizabethton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Ron Campbell and Kathy and Rick Shipley, all of Elizabethton; five sisters, Mary Dykes, Dorothy Pierce, Kate Bowers, Margaret Bradley and Betty Dolan, all of Elizabethton; a brother, John "Bud" Bradley, of Michigan; nine grandchildren, Jerry Michael Bradley, Ian Bradley, R.J. "Jack" Campbell, Chris Campbell, Leann Bradley, Dusty Bradley and Cassie Shipley, all of Elizabethton, Robbie Bradley, Fort Bragg, N.C., and Nikki Grindstaff, Mountain City; and three great-grandchildren, Logan Bradley, Porter Bradley and Lydia Bradley, all of Elizabethton. Bradley, 76, 1477 Southside Road, Elizabethton, who died Thursday, November 14, 2002, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday, November 17, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home with Mr. Mike Koruschak and Mr. Paul Knapp, ministers, officiating. Music will be under the direction of No Name But His. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, November 18, at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by the Captain Lynn H. Folsom VFW Post No. 2166. Active pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Men's Sunday School Class of Southside Christian Church, John Bradley and Danny Simerly. Those who plan to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
