CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Lenora Evelyn Brummett, 7 Feb 2004

Lenora Evelyn Brummett, 83, of Powder Branch Rd., Johnson 
City, died Saturday, February 7, 2004 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital 
following a brief illness. 
She was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late William 
L. and Dora M. McKeehan Brummett. 
She was a homemaker. 
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Johnson City. 
She was preceded in death by a sister, Cleo B. Lyons. 
Survivors include one sister, Leota Brummett, of the home; several 
cousins and friends also survive. 
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 
10, 2004 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with 
Pastor Paul Dixion officiating. Music will be by Gerald Burnette. Burial 
will follow in the Patton-Simmons Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be 
Terry McKeehan, Herman Shepherd, David Holt, Steve Payne, Alex Payne, 
Roy Tester, Dayton Pate and Lee Hubbard. The family will receive friends 
in the funeral home from 1 until 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.
