Buck Mrs. Beulah Feathers Buck, 90, 418 Washington Avenue, Elizabethton, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Buck was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Vest Feathers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Luther Kyle Buck, a grandson, Dr. James Buck, and by four brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Buck was a 1929 graduate of Happy Valley High School and attended East Tennessee State College. She taught school in the Carter County School System for a number of years. She was a member of Central Church of Christ but attended West Side Christian Church. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dolores B. Hart, Elizabethton, Janet B. and Joe Maroney, Loganville, Ga., and Becky and Sam Daniels, Johnson City; a son and daughter-in-law, James K. and Marie Buck, Johnson City; a brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Vivian Feathers, Johnson City; and seven grandchildren, Bambi Holt, Renee McNeely, Deidre Crawford, Amy Mott, Devon Buck, Misty Buck and Eric Kelly. Fourteen great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. BUCK -- Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Feathers Buck, 90, 418 Washington Avenue, Elizabethton, who died Sunday, June 4, 2000, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at the Central Church of Christ (Central Community), with Mr. James Curtis and Mr. Mark Smith, ministers, officiating. Will McNeely, great-grandson, soloist, and Scott Reynolds, organist, will provide the music. Graveside services and interment will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Greg Key officiating. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the church at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday and also at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, will be Harry Buck, LaVerne Banner, Bill Hughes, Dick Hendrix, Homer Nave, Bob Clark, Bob Hendrix and Jerry Holt. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Central Church of Christ. Friends may also call at the residence. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday to go to the cemetery. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
