Buckles Nina "Flo" Buckles, 77, formerly of 1527 Blue Springs Rd., Elizabethton, died Saturday, March 9, 2002, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton following an extended illness. A Carter County native, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Mossie Cole Buckles. She was a member of Carter Christian Church and was a retired employee from Parks-Belk. Survivors include three sisters, Shirley Younce, Buckeye, Ariz., Reta V. Buckles, Elizabethton, Cora Wolfe, Butler, two brothers, Ross Buckles, Duson, La., Clyde Buckles, Elizabethton, several nieces and nephews. Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, 423-542-2232, is in charge of arrangements. www.Funeral-Plans.com/Tetrick BUCKLES -- Funeral services for Nina "Flo" Buckles, 77, formerly of 1527 Blue Springs Rd., Elizabethton, who died Saturday, March 9, 2002, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace, with Mr. Lynn Buckles, minister, officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at Buckles Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Buckles, David Buckles, Gene Buckles, Eddie Wolfe, Doug Buckles, Ken Nidiffer, Larry Estep and Randall Buckles. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Carter Christian Church. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2002, for the graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace, or other times at the residence of a sister, Reta Buckles, 1527 Blue Springs Rd., Elizabethton, any time.
