Burrow 10/14/99 Mrs. Lillie Mae Cordell Burrow, more lovingly known as "Pill," 79, of Hillview Healthcare Center, Elizabethton, died Tuesday, October 12, 1999, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Burrow was born June 6, 1920 in Shell Creek to Jack and Bettie Riddle Cordell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Harmon Burrow. Mrs. Burrow was a member of the First Christian Church of Elizabethton. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a retired Sr. Vice President of Elizabethton Federal Savings Bank and a member of the Elizabethton Professional Business and Womens Club. Survivors include a son, Joey C. Burrow, Elizabethton, and two sisters, Beatrice Blevins, Elizabethton, and Thelma McKinney, Roan Mountain. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Boone Family Funeral Home of West Jefferson, N.C., and Memorial Funeral Chapel of Elizabethton are in charge of arrangements. BURROW -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Cordell Burrow, more lovingly known as "Pill," 79, of Hillview Healthcare Center, Elizabethton, who died Tuesday, will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church of Elizabethton with Dr. Don Marshall and Rev. Jack Cordell officiating. Interment services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Happy Valley Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church of Elizabethton. Boone Family Funeral Home of West Jefferson, N.C., and Memorial Funeral Chapel of Elizabethton are in charge of arrangements.
