Mr. Campbell was a native of Carter County and the son of the late Mike and Rhoda Fair Campbell. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters, a daughter, three half-sisters and a half-brother. Mr. Campbell was of the Baptist faith and was a retired employee of General Motors. Survivors include his wife, Iris Parsons Campbell, of the home; two daughters, Iris Spencer, Falerton, Ind., and Nancy Simmers, Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, Robert Campbell, Cleveland, Ohio, and Kermit Campbell, Pierpoint, Ohio; and a brother, Perry Campbell, Alburn Hills, Mich. Six grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive. Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. CAMPBELL -- Funeral services for Herman Campbell, 83, 325 McKeehan Ridge Road, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with Rev. Art Webb officiating. Committal and entombment services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mausoleum of Hope, Happy Valley Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
