CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Martha D. Campbell, 28 Nov 2002 ----¤¤¤---- Martha D. Campbell Martha D. Campbell, 91, Hillview Health Center, Elizabethton, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late A.M. and Louzina Hatley Davenport. Mrs. Campbell was a member of Little Milligan Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Campbell; two sons, Ralph Davenport and David Campbell, Jr.; two grandsons and one granddaughter; seven brothers and two sisters. Survivors include three daughters, Marie Matherly, Butler, Joyce Ellis, Elizabethton, and Ann Collins, Johnson City; 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive as well as several nieces and nephews. Campbell, 91, Hillview Health Center, Elizabethton, who went to her heavenly home on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Little Milligan Baptist Church with Rev. Nick Bradshaw and Rev. Ronnie Campbell officiating. Music will be under the direction of Esther Loyd, Tammy Kinser and Phyllis McQueen. The graveside service and interment will follow at the Butler Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Friends may also call at the residences of the daughters anytime.
