CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Beulah H. Campbell, 1 Dec 2003 ----¤¤¤---- Beulah H. Campbell, age 85, 197 Campbell Hollow Road, Roan Mountain, died Monday, December 1, 2003, at her residence following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Ellen Arnett Hopson. She was a member of Buck Mountain Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Leon Campbell, five sisters, two brothers, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Lucille and Claude Hamby, Louella Campbell, all of Roan Mountain; four sons and three daughters-in-law, T.C. and Veronica Campbell, Frankfort, Ill.; Jack and Linda Campbell, Statesville, N.C.; Spencer and Cathy Campbell, Roan Mountain; Ray Campbell, Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter-in-law, Mona Campbell, Hammond, Ind.; 29 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; four sisters, Betty Jean Potter, Pearl Markland, and Martha Campbell, all of Roan Mountain, and Gertrude Morrell, Bluff City; one brother, Raymond "Bud" Hopson, Wichita, Kan.; and a special person, Dave Campbell; several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at Tetrick Funeral Home Rhododendron Chapel, Roan Mountain with the Rev. Jim Storie officiating. The graveside service and interment will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2003 at Isaacs Cemetery, Roan Mountain. Active pallbearers will be selected from grandsons. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home chapel at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Rhododendron Chapel, Roan Mountain, or friends may call at the residence of a son and daughter-in-law, Spencer and Cathy Campbell any time.
