Maude Christian

Maude Ann Harrell Christian, age 94, of Stateline Road, 
Elizabethton, died Saturday, October 25, 2003 at the Pine Ridge 
Care Center, Elizabethton where she had been a resident for seven 
years. 
A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Clayton 
& Matilda Street Harrell. 
Mrs. Christian was a homemaker and a member of Cove Creek 
Presbyterian Church in Roan Mountain. She was preceded in death by 
her husband, Glen Christian; four brothers, Dave Harrell, Claude 
Harrell, Ford Harrell & Loy Harrell, and two sisters, Carolyn Young 
and Pearl Calhoun. 
Mrs. Christian is survived by a sister-in-law, Beryl Harrell, one 
niece and three nephews. 
The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 2 p.m. 
Tuesday, October 28, 2003 in the Harrell-Kerley Cemetery with Rev. 
Jerry McCoury officiating. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 
1:55 p.m. for the graveside service. Those who prefer memorials in 
lieu of flowers may make donations to the American Diabetes 
Association, Tennessee Affiliate, 4205 Hillsboro Avenue, Suite 200,
