Clipse 3/13/00 Stella Mae Morgan Clipse, 77, 3515 Clipse Road, Kingsport, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at Indian Path Medical Center Emergency Room after an extended illness. Mrs. Clipse was a native of Roan Mountain and had lived in Kingsport for the past 55 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Trent Rose and Devia Morgan; a sister, Betty Clipse; and four brothers, Dallas Morgan, Ed Morgan, Tom Morgan and Clifford Morgan. Mrs. Clipse was a homemaker and a member of Mount Nebo Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Clyde Clipse, of the home; a son, Ronald Clipse, Kingsport; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Tipton, Erwin; and two brothers, Nelson Morgan and Albert Morgan, both of Roan Mountain. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport, is in charge of arrangements. CLIPSE -- Funeral services for Stella Mae Clipse, 77, 3515 Clipse Road, Kingsport, who went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 9, 2000, were conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 11, from the Carter-Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny Pugh and Rev. Junior Perry officiating. Music was provided by The Bishop Family. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 12, at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Andrew Williams, Billy Williams, Roy Cowden, Michael Dunn, Mitch Roberts, Tim Dunn, David Kincheloe and David Renfro. The family received friends at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Friends may also call at the residence, 3515 Clipse Road, Kingsport, any time.
