CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Margaret N. Clevenger, 14 Apr 2003 ----¤¤¤---- Margaret N. Clevenger Margaret N. Clevenger, 86, formerly of 9062 Highway 19E, Roan Mountain, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at Roan Highlands Nursing Center. Mrs. Clevenger was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late James Rosscoe and Mable Elizabeth Hopson Cordell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Owen Harrison Clevenger, in 1991, a sister, Lucille Buck, and a niece, Jewel Vance. Mrs. Clevenger was member of Lower Shell Creek Christian Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David W. and Cynthia Clevenger, Roan Mountain; a daughter, Ruth Cirignani, Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren, Misty Clevenger, Roan Mountain, and Steven Clevenger, Jonesborough; a brother, Dexter Cordell, Elizabethton; and a special niece, Betty Ritchie, Greenwood, S.C.
