Cole Bonnie Louise Cole, 90, formerly of 209 Lacy Hollow Road, Elizabethton, died Friday, February 1, 2002, at Pine Ridge Care Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Cole was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Charlie and Mandy Fair Martin. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Cole was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church. She was former owner and operator of Cole's Market for 25 years. Survivors include her husband, Willie J. Cole, of the home, and two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Jack and Loretta Morris and Joseph L. and Teresa Cole, all of Elizabethton. Four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Darrell Holly officiating. Interment will follow at Garland Cemetery, Bulldog Hollow. Active pallbearers will be Greg Morris, Joe Cole Jr., Ron Honeycutt, John Sampson, Jerry McNeil and Keith Tolley. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 4, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home. Friends may also call at the residence of her sons, Billy Jack Morris, 200 N.
