Cox, 92, 154-1 Central Drive, Johnson City, died Monday, January 14, 2002, at Lakebridge Health Care Center. Mrs. Cox was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Thomas M. and Cordia Brumitt Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carson Cox, and three sisters, Rita Morelock, Ann Foster and Mary McEwen. Mrs. Cox was of the Christian faith. Survivors include a sister, Pauline Crowner, Palm Springs, Calif. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. COX -- Graveside services for Mrs. Gladys B. Cox, 92, 154-1 Central Drive, Johnson City, who died Monday, January 14, 2002, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 19, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Roy Yelton officiating. Interment will follow the service. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday, will be Dewey Hill, Tommy Little, Jerry Hinkle, Bob Murphy, Mark Wiley and Jim Culbert.
