Curtis Mrs. Selma Nave Curtis, 71, 1118 Happy Valley Street, Elizabethton, died Saturday, February 3, 2001, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Curtis was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Shelby and Hazel Holly Nave. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert "Bo" Nave. Mrs. Curtis was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was retired from the Shipping Department of North American Rayon Corporation. Survivors include her husband, Bill Curtis, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and John Elrod, Elizabethton; a grandson, William Curtis Armstrong, Elizabethton; and a sister, Betty Oliver, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Darrell Holly and Mr. S. Joe Taylor officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. William Armstrong, Roy McKinney and Paul Myers. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday for the graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel.
