CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Malcolm A. Danner, 18 Nov 2004 ----¤¤¤---- BOONE, NC -- Colonel (Ret.) Malcolm Arden Danner, 66, of Foster Circle, Boone, died Thursday, November 18, 2004, at his home. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Danner; two daughters and a son-in- law, Sarah Kate Morefield, Boone, and Rachel Anne and Jeff Keller, Deep Gap; a son, Jubal Christian Danner, Boone; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Sharoyn and Carl Foster, Durham, Shelia McGill, Columbus, Ga., and Rose Marie Danner, Gray, Tenn.; his mother-in-law, Fannie L. Campbell, Elizabethton, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Matthew and Tristan Morefield and Bailey and Abby Keller, all of Boone. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 21, at Foscoe Christian Church with Mr. Lance Hostetter and Mr. Ken Caswell, ministers, officiating. Military graveside rites and interment will follow at Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home.
