CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Billie Denison, 6 Feb 2005 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Mr. Billie Denison, 75, formerly of Bluff City, died on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at Mt. Clemens General Hospital, Mt. Clemens, Mich. Born on Dec. 2, 1929, in Bluff City, he was the son of the late Charles and Ethel Denison. Mr. Denison proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. After his honorable discharge in 1956, he moved from Bluff City to Cleveland, Ohio. He had been a resident of Clinton Township, Mich., since moving from Cleveland in 1964. Mr. Denison worked at Chrysler Corporation, Sterling Stamping, for 44 years as a tool- and-die maker. He retired in January 2004. Mr. Denison was a 32nd degree Past Master and Life Member of the Trinity Masonic Lodge #502 and a former member of the Zollicoffer Masonic Lodge #444, Bluff City. Mr. Denison is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Denison and Robert Meier, Clinton Township, Mich.; his sister, Juanita Cook, Bluff City; and his grandson, Randall Charles Denison, Clinton Township, Mich. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Denison. A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Denison will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 14, at Tetrick Funeral and Cremation Services with the Rev. Edward Townsend officiating. His committal service will be held in the funeral home with Masonic rites being bestowed by the Zollicoffer Masonic Lodge #444. Military honors will be conducted by the Charles DeWitt Byrd VFW Post #3382. His family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
