CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Willard Dial, 15 Jun 2002 ----¤¤¤---- Willard Dial Willard Dial, 85, 110 Danny Mathes Road, Elizabethton, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Dial was a native of Carter County and a son of the late Oscar Pless and Cordie Morrell Dial. Mr. Dial was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Clemons Dial, of the home; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Arlie and Linda Dial, Watauga, Larry and Mindi Dial, Elizabethton, and Marvin Dial, Watauga; a brother, Lawrence Dial, Elizabethton; three granddaughters, Julie Dial, Johnson City, Chris Dial and Mikala Dial, both of Elizabethton; three grandsons, Allen Dial and Johnathan Dial, both of Elizabethton, and David Dial, Watauga; a great- grandchild, Brandon Dial, Elizabethton; and a special niece, Marie Franklin, Elizabethton. Visit our Web site at www.Funeral- Plans.com/Tetrick DIAL -- Funeral services for Willard Dial, 85, 110 Danny Mathes Road, Elizabethton, who died Saturday, June 15, 2002, will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, June 17, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with Dr. Kenneth Jordan and Mr. Dave Wolfe, minister, officiating. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, in the Colbaugh Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Pritchard, Robert Dugger, Finys Pennycuff, Harry Woods, Wiley Lambert, Charley Roe, Wiley Oliver, Frankie Richardson and Dayton Harrell. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday for the graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home.
