CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Ina Mae Deloach, 12 Aug 2004 ----¤¤¤---- Ina M. Deloach Ina Mae Deloach, 87, West Doe Avenue, Elizabethton, died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at the residence of a niece, Doris Cates, 273 Long Hollow Road, Elizabethton. A native of Butler, she was a daughter of the late Nat and Pearl Whaley Deloach. She had lived a number of years in Elizabethton. Miss Deloach had formerly been employed at Ingles, Kress's and Big K. She was a member of the Happy Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Manuel, Spencer and Robert Deloach. Survivors include two sisters, Pauline Poole, Elizabethton, and Effie Garland, Butler. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2004 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Lyons officiating. The graveside service and burial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2004 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of a niece and her husband, Doris and Lonnie Cates, 273 Long Hollow Road, Elizabethton. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery. Condolences may be e-mailed to mfc@chartertn.net.
