Daniels Miss Anna Mae Daniels, 83, 156 Keenburg Road, Elizabethton, died Thursday, January 31, 2002, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Miss Daniels was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Alice Blevins Daniels. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Howard Daniels. Miss Daniels worked at North American Rayon Corporation for 38 years. She was a member of Borderview Christian Church, where she had served as secretary for 13 years. She was a 1935 graduate of Elizabethton High School. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Florence Holdren, Elizabethton; four nieces, Helen Sewell, Sue Prater, Linda Hawthorne and Susan McNabb; and two nephews, Lynn Holdren and James Holdren. Several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. DANIELS -- Funeral services for Miss Anna Mae Daniels, 83, 156 Keenburg Road, Elizabethton, who died Thursday, January 31, 2002, will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 2, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Dave Wolfe and Mr. Jeff McNabb officiating. Music will be provided by Susan McNabb, Maia McNabb and Alyssa McNabb. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 9 a.m. Sunday, February 3, in the Colbaugh Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be her church family and former ministers of Borderview Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Florence Holdren, 176 Keenburg Road, Elizabethton.
