Dugger 4/6/00 Myrtle Belle Lambert Dugger, 86, Gateway Nursing Center, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at the Center. Mrs. Dugger was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late John C. and Nina Miller Lambert. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Oliver Dugger; three sons, Harold L. Dugger, John F. Dugger and Rev. J.C. Dugger; a great-grandson, Nicholas Lynn Arrowood; six brothers, J.W., Donald, John, Earl, Charles and Homer Lambert; and three sisters, Mae Staton, Della Daniels and Ruby McGinnis. Mrs. Dugger was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitnel. Survivors include two sons, William B. Dugger, Lenoir, N.C., and Rev. Darrel D. Dugger, Elizabethton; a daughter, Mrs. Janet Richardson, Lenoir, N.C.; and a brother, Ronda Lambert, Lenoir, N.C. Seventeen grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services and interment were held Thursday in Lenoir, N.C. Memorials may be made to the Caldwell County Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, N.C., 28645 or to a charity of one's choice.
