Joyce G. Dugger

Joyce Grace Dugger, 71, 1010 Bishop Lane, Elizabethton, died Saturday, 
Dec. 7, 2002, in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital, following a brief illness.
A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late John and 
Hazel Jenkins Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 
years, the Rev. Darrell Dugger, who died Oct. 13, 2000, and one brother, 
Larry Carter.
Mrs. Dugger was a member of Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church and a 
homemaker. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Hampton Lodge 
No. 470.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Barbara 
Dugger, Knoxville, ex and Vicki Dugger, Daytona Beach, Fla., and Calvin 
and Anita Dugger, Roan Mountain, one brother, Jim Carter, New York, 
seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and several nieces and 
nieces.

DUGGER -- Funeral services for Joyce Grace Dugger, 71, 1010 Bishop Lane, 
Elizabethton, who died Saturday, will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, 
Dec. 8, 2002, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, with the 
Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Music will be under the direction of 
the Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church Trio. A private graveside 
service and interment will be conducted in the Vaughn Cemetery. Honorary 
pallbearers will be special neighbors Lester Brewer, Carm Hall, Don 
Pleasant and Dwight Hughes, also the following grandsons, Tim Dugger, 
Brandon Dugger and Aaron Dugger. The family will receive friends from 
5-7 p.m. Sunday n the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, or at 
the residence, 1010 Bishop Lane, Elizabethton, at any time. Those 
prefer memorials in lieu of flowers in memory of Joyce Grace Dugger,
 may make donations to the Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church 
Building Fund, 503 Riverview Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643. Words of
