Mrs. Connie Dugger, whose husband was buried last week, died unexpectedly
Friday.  Mrs. Dugger, 65, of Rt. 6, died in route to the hospital.  Mrs.
Dugger was a native of Carter County, and was preceded in death by her
husband, Charlie Dugger, July 2, 1969.  She was a member of the Southside
Christian Church.  Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. James A. Murphy, Rt. 6,
Elizabethton; Mrs. Charles Carden, Rt. 3, Elizabethton; Mrs. Donald Roberts,
Baltimore, Md.; and Mrs. Beauford Smith, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs.
Garfield Garland, Rt. 6 Elizabethton, and Mrs. Rettie Lewis, Jonesboro; two
brothers, Denver Campbell, Morganton, N.C.; and Robert Campbell, Rt. 5,
Elizabethton; nine grandchildren also survive.  Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home is
in charge of arrangements.
