Ruth Elliott 



    Ruth Elliott, 72, of Watauga, died Sunday, December 31, 2006, at Johnson 

City Medical Center. 



   A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Grimes and 

Myrtle Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 

husband, Robert Conley Elliott, in 2006, a granddaughter, Michelle Williams, 

in 2006, and by five brothers and five sisters. 





    Mrs. Elliott attended New Hope Christian Church. 





    Survivors include two sons, Conley Michael Elliott of Hawaii and Clay 

Elliott of California; a special cousin, Tonia Kimeer of California; a 

brother, Bob Campbell of Watauga; and a sister, Barbara Sams of Watauga. Two 

great-grandchildren also survive. 





    Arrangements for Mrs. Elliott are incomplete. In lieu of flowers, 

memorials may be made to Relay For Life at New Victory Baptist Church, 527 

Conklin Road, Jonesborough, TN 37659. 





    Appalachian Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, 

Johnson City, is serving the Elliott family.
