CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Neva Marie Elliott, 23 Apr 2004 ----¤¤¤---- Neva Marie Elliott, age 71, Muddy Branch Road, Elizabethton, died Friday, April 23, 2004, in the Johnson City Medical Center. After a long illness, she has gone to be with her Lord in heaven. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Ike and Lillian Barnette Love. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Borderview Christian Church. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Robert G. Elliott, of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael L. Elliott, and Dennis and Marie Elliott, all of Elizabethton; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Tim Sutherland, Haysi, Va.; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Kenneth Calloway, Elizabethton; five grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Graveside service and Interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery with Mr. Kirk J. Langston, Minister, officiating. Active pallbearers will be Rick Love, Jack Love, Gene Ritchie, Tony Barnette, Chad Brockwell and Lawrence Ritchie. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Ritchie, George Ritchie, Ernest Ritchie, Russell Love, Bob Keene, Sonny Fletcher, Lowell Pierce, staff and employees of Scott's Farm, doctors and staff of McLeod Cancer and Blood Center, doctors and staff of Johnson City Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., Monday, April 26, at Tetrick Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clate Briggs having the concluding prayer, or you may call at the residence at any time.
