CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Conley Mack Ellison, Sr., 8 Jun 2003 ----¤¤¤---- Conley M. Ellison, Sr. Mr. Conley Mack Ellison, Sr., age 74, South Buffalo Street, Erwin, died Sunday, June 8, 2003 in the Unicoi County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ellison was a Carter County native, having lived in Erwin for the past 14 years. He was a son of the late James David and Stella Realty Roberts Ellison. Mr. Ellison was a carpenter. He was of the Baptist faith. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Hare and Sue Elkins. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Conley Mack, Jr. and Eva Mae Ellison, Elizabethton; two daughters, Judy Warden, of McDonough, Ga., and Brenda Little, of Pleasant View; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Donald and Norma Ellison, Elizabethton; Jessee and Louella Ellison, of Taneytown, Md.; Lonnie Ellison, of Mountain Home, Tenn., and Carnie Ellison, of Hampton; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Albert Parrish, of Johnson City; Norma and Roland Parrish, of Piney Flats, and Verna and Ronald Livesay, of Westminster, Md.; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Ledford Funeral Home, 720 Ohio Avenue, Erwin, is in charge of funeral arrangements. ELLISON -- Funeral services for Conley Mack Ellison, Sr., age 74, South Buffalo Street, Erwin, who died Sunday, June 8, 2003, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2003 from the Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Arnold Hensley will officiate. Music will be provided by Inez Chandler. Interment will follow in Lyons Chapel Cemetery. Albert Parrish, David Hare, Gary Wilson, Roland Parrish, Ronald Livesay and Jerry Mottern will serve as pallbearers and are requested to assemble at the funeral home by 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
