Estep Edith M. Estep, 84, 1011 DeJarnette Street, Elizabethton, died Monday, June 10, 2002, at Ivy Hall Nursing Home. Miss Estep was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Henry B. and Bertie Scalf Estep. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lennis Lyons. Miss Estep was a member of East Side Christian Church. Survivors include four brothers, Hasford Estep and Warren G. Estep, both of Hampton, William M. Estep, Bristol, and Isaac Earl Estep, Johnson City, and a sister, Hildred Peeks, of Florida. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. ESTEP -- Funeral services for Edith M. Estep, 84, 1011 DeJarnette Street, Elizabethton, who died Monday, June 10, 2002, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. John H. Smith, minister, officiating. Music will be provided by Mary and John Smith. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Thursday to go to the cemetery. Condolences may be e-mailed to the Estep Family at mfc@chartertn.net.
