CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Helen Estep, 21 Feb 2005

Helen Estep, 77, East 2nd Street, Courtyard Apartments, Elizabethton, died
Monday, February 21, 2005, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.

Ms. Estep was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Godfrey
and Lora Richardson Estep. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by a brother, Shade Estep, a sister, Selma Swift, a nephew, James Swift,
and a special niece, Sheila Swift Hardin.

Ms. Estep was a retired beautician and a member of the National Cosmetology
Association. She attended the Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her twin brother, Burton Estep, Nashville; a sister-in-law,
Eva Estep, Elizabethton; several nieces and nephews; a very dear friend from
our youth, Marjorie Estep; and a cousin, J. Harmon Richardson.

Graveside services and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February
23, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. D.C. Byrd officiating. Family and
friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday to go to the
