Leslie A. "Lee" Farquhar, age 76, formerly of Arney Street, 
Elizabethton, died Monday, December 29, 2003, in Pine Ridge Care 
Center, following an extended illness. 
She was a native of Carter County. She was a retired cook. 
Survivors include a daughter, Pat Showalter, of Maurertown, Va.; 
a niece, Loraine Dillion, of Galax, Va. and friends at Pine Ridge 
Care Center. 
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, 
December 30, 2003, in Johnson-Roanview Cemetery, Roan Mountain, 
with Rev. Darrell Holly officiating. Those planning to attend the 
graveside service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, 
Elizabethton at 1 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. Active 
pallbearers will be selected from friends attending the service.
