Folsom ARANSAS PASS, Tex. -- William Jack Folsom, 97, of Aransas Pass Nursing Home, Aransas, died Monday, January 14, 2002, at his residence following a lengthy illness. Mr. Folsom was a native of Carter County, Tenn., and had lived in Texas for the past 30 years. He was a son of the late Malcolm and Lillie Henry Folsom and was also preceded in death by eight sisters and a brother. Mr. Folsom was a veteran, having retired from the United States Merchant Marines. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 18, at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E.
