Nell K. Foster

BOONE, N.C. -- Nell Kester Foster, 73, of Ransom Street, Blowing 
Rock, N.C., died Saturday, November 29, 2003 in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Born August 29, 1930 in Butler, Tenn., she was a daughter of Joseph 
Alexander and Lillie Laws Keller.
Surviving are one daughter, Kay Thomas, of Salisbury, N.C.; one son, 
Jeffrey Foster, of Blowing Rock, N.C.; three grandchildren; three 
sisters, Ann Vines and husband, Bob, and Arlene Townsend, of 
Elizabethton, Tenn., and Jean Greene of Campbellsville, Ky., and four 
brothers, Ray Keller, of Granite Falls, N.C.; Clarence Keller, of 
Butler, Tenn.; Commodore Keller, of Black Mountain, N.C., and Roy 
Keller, of Sugar Grove, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville 'Buddy' Foster; two 
sisters, Alma and Ruth Keller, and two brothers, Billy and Dale Keller.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at 11 a.m. 
at the First Baptist Church in Blowing Rock. Burial will follow at 
Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 
3409 D, West Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, N.C. 27407. The family will 
receive friends on Monday evening, December 1, 2003 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. 
at the Austin and Barnes Funeral Home in Boone, N.C. Austin and Barnes 
Funeral Home, 194 Queen St., Boone, NC 28607, is in charge of funeral
