Mrs. Freeman was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Isaac and Bessie Tipton Johnson. She was also preceded in death by a son, Randy Freeman, in 1968. Mrs. Freeman was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation. She was a life member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Theodore "Ted" Freeman, of the home; two sisters, Geneva Street, Roan Mountain, and Erma Morris, Carrolton, Ohio; and five brothers, Ernest Johnson, Bruce Johnson, Albert Johnson, Maynard Johnson and Billy Glen Johnson, all of Roan Mountain. Funeral-Plans.com/Hathaway-Percy FREEMAN -- Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Freeman, 71, 1418 Happy Valley Street, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, November 1, 2000, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday, November 4, at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, with the Rev. Ron Owens officiating. Music will be under the direction of Jon Cardwell. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, November 5, in the South View Garden of Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Friends may also call at the residence any time or at the home of a brother, Bruce Johnson, Sugar Hollow Road, Roan Mountain, any time. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery. To those who desire, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Helen Wilson, 209 S.
