CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Helen Ruth Fritts, 5 Apr 2003 ----¤¤¤---- Helen R. Fritts Helen Ruth Fritts, 77, Sugar Hollow Road, Elizabethton, died Saturday, April 5, 2003, in the Pine Ridge Care Center. A native of Carter County, Mrs. Fritts was a daughter of the late Clarence and Ida Mae Hartley McCloud. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren G. Fritts, May 8, 1995. Mrs. Fritts was a member of Prayer Tabernacle. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Mitchell and Nora Fritts and Phil and Gina Fritts, all of Elizabethton; a grandson, Stacey Fritts, four step-grandchildren, Travis Sexton, Tracey Guy, Cody Fair and Josh Fair; and one step-great-grandson, Seth Sexton. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. FRITTS -- Funeral services for Helen Ruth Fritts, 77, Sugar Hollow Road, Elizabethton, who died Saturday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral Chapel, with the Revs. A.G. Wagner and Steve Burleson officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Highland Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, will be Stacy Fritts, Allen McCloud, Josh Fair, Cody Fair, Travis Sexton and Ken Howerton. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Arnold, James Taylor, Clayton Guess, Dr. Stephen May and her church family. The family will receive friends from 6-8 .m. Monday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of the sons and daughters-in-law, Mitchell and Nora Fritts, 604 Bingham Street, Elizabethton, or Phil and Gina Fritts, 104 Country Acres Drive, Elizabethton.
