Marie Glover 





    Marie Glover, 78, 1158 Hwy. 321, Hampton, died unexpectedly Wednesday, 

February 15, 2006, at her residence. 





    Mrs. Glover was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Ernest 

and Nell Hicks Arnett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 

her husband, Charles M. Glover. 





    Mrs. Glover had retired from Baxter Laboratories in North Carolina. 





    Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gary and Sandra Glover, 

Elizabethton, and Jamie Glover, Hampton; a daughter, Remega "Becky" Hyder, 

Hampton; four granddaughters, Diane Arrwood, Hampton, Sherry Freeman, Mountain 

City, Shelia James and Cindy Tipton, both of Elizabethton; five great-

grandchildren; one aunt, Ethel Faulk, Marion, N.C.; and special friends, Jerry 

and Connie Hoss, Hampton, and Phyllis Wiley, Marion, N.C. 





    The memorial service for Mrs. Glover will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, 

February 17, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home. The family will 

receive friends in the chapel from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday, prior to the service, 

or at the residence at anytime. Private disposition will be held at a later 

date. Honorary pallbearers will be friends from Baxter Laboratories, Hal Nave, 

Bobby James, Todd Tipton, Randy Freeman, Brian Arrwood, Joshua Nave and Bobby 

James III. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to 

The Salvation Army, 101 Hudson Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643. Condolence
