Glass 1/10/00 Dorothy Lee Glass, 75, formerly of 500 Sabine Street, Elizabethton, died Saturday, January 8, 2000, at Pine Ridge Care Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Glass was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Homer and Alta Vanover Perkins. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Harley Perkins. Mrs. Glass was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation and a member of First Christian Church of Elizabethton. Survivors include her husband, Billy Jack Glass, of the home; a son, Tony Glass, Elizabethton; and a brother, Jerry Perkins, Hendersonville, N.C. Three grandchildren and a great-grandchild also survive. Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. www.Funeral-Plans.com/Tetrick GLASS -- Funeral services for Dorothy Lee Glass, 75, formerly of 500 Sabine Street, Elizabethton, who died Saturday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with Mr. H. Clay Bailey, minister, officiating. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Pink E. McKinney, Arvel McKinney, Roy McKinney, Larry McKinney, Steve McKinney, Billy Bob Garrison and Farrell Hutchins. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday for the graveside services.
