CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Lucille Roberson Glover, 6 Mar 2004

Mrs. Lucille Roberson Glover, 91, N. Watauga Avenue, Elizabethton, 
died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.

Mrs. Glover was a native of Roan Mountain and a daughter of the late 
William and Eva Whitehead Roberson. She was also preceded in death by 
her husband, Edward F. Glover, September 11, 1988, a son, William Robert 
"Bob" Glover, December 6, 2002, and by several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Glover was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy G. and James L. 
Oliver, Charlotte, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Kathleen Glover, 
Elizabethton; a brother, Glenn Roberson, Roan Mountain; and four 
grandchildren, Robert W. Glover, Eric Glover, Stephanie Oliver and Mark 
Oliver. Eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also 
survive.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, March 8, at Memorial 
Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ed Townsend officiating. Interment followed 
at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers were Robert W. Glover, 
Eric Glover, James Oliver, Gary Townsend, Carl Roberson and Clyde Jenkins. 
The family received friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until 1 p.m. 
Monday, prior to the service. Condolences may be e-mailed to the Glover

arrangements.
