Walnut Street, Johnson City, died Tuesday, November 7, 2000, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton following an extended illness. Mr. Guinn was a native of Carter County and a son of the late David and Julie Sims Guinn. Mr. Guinn was a retired taxi driver and was of the Free Will Baptist Faith. Survivors include three daughters, June Geyer, Littleton, Colo., Elizabeth Shultz, Macy, Ind., and Barbara Hoffman, Aurora, Colo.; two sons, David Guinn and Larry Guinn, both of Union City, Ind.; and a brother, Howard Guinn, Elizabethton. Several grandchildren also survive. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11, in the McKinney Cemetery, Long Hollow. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
