CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Frances Ruth Guinn, 24 Jan 2003 ----¤¤¤---- Frances R. Guinn Mrs. Frances Ruth Guinn, 72, 103 Franklin Place, Elizabethton, died at her residence Friday, Jan. 24, 2003. A native of Carter County, Mrs. Guinn was a daughter of the late Charlie and Delia Mann Trivette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Guinn, in 1990; two brothers, Colby Trivette and William "R.C." Trivette; and two sisters, Dessie Blankenship and Mary Rasnick. Mrs. Guinn was a homemaker. She was a member of Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Trudy and Daniel Ornduff, Elizabethton; one son, Lloyd "Bubba" Guinn, Elizabethton; two brothers, the Rev. Charlie Trivette and James Elliott Trivette, both of Elizabethton; one sister, Virgie Davis, Elizabethton; four grandchildren, Beth Harrell, Travis Guinn, Daniel Ornduff, and Brittni Guinn; one great-grandson, Daniel Allen Harrell, II; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. GUINN -- Funeral services for Frances Ruth Guinn, 72, 103 Franklin Place, Elizabethton, who died Friday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Charlie Trivette and Pastor Jeff Davis officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Perkins Cemetery, Roan Mountain, with the Rev. Steve Burleson officiating. Mark Odom will provide the music. Active pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and friends at Franklin Place. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of the daughter and son-in-law, Trudy and Daniel Ornduff, 125 Pinnacle Drive, Elizabethton.
