Guy 01/06/99 Florence Dugger Guy, 78, 80 N. Hampton Lane, Jackson, formerly of Elizabethton, died Monday, January 4, 1999, at the residence of her daughter in Jackson following an extended illness. Mrs. Guy was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Lena Joann Glover Dugger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roby Lee Guy, June 30, 1997, and two brothers. Mrs. Guy was a member of West Side Christian Church of Elizabethton and a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and David Herbage and Doris and Thomas Coffman, all of Jackson; a sister, Anna Frances Greenwell, Jackson; three grandchildren, Michael Taylor and Kevin Mayo, both of Jackson, and Lisa Bolton, Atlanta, Ga.; and three great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Bolton, Atlanta, Ga., Hayden Mayo and Michael Taylor II, both of Jackson; and a special niece, Carolyn Jean Greenwell, Jackson. Two other nieces also survive. Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. GUY -- Funeral services for Florence Dugger Guy, 78, 80 N. Hampton Lane, Jackson, formerly of Elizabethton, who died Monday, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with Mr. James D. Curtis, minister, officiating. Committal services and entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Jones, Jack Glover, Norman Glover, Howard Matherly and Bobby Ford. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
