CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Virginia Lee Harden, 9 Mar 2005

Virginia Lee Harden, 82, Life Care Center, Elizabethton, died there Wednesday,
March 9, 2005. A native of Wise County, Va., she was the daughter of the late
Sanford A. and Ida Mae Penn Hardin. Mrs. Harden was a retired employee of
North American Rayon Corporation and attended East Side Baptist Church. She
was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hardin; and two sisters, Marie
Hardin and Audrey Hardin. 

Survivors include two aunts, Nan Scott and Pearl Taylor, of Elizabethton; one
uncle, Joe Hardin, of Elizabethton; several cousins and her caregivers, Betty
Craft and Vicky Manuel. 

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Funeral
Chapel, with Mr. Eddie Craft officiating. Interment will be in Happy Valley
Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral chapel any time Saturday or
Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carter County Rescue
Squad, P.O. Box 776, Elizabethton, TN 37644. Condolences to the Harden family
