Hardin Georgia Pauline Hardin, 81, 827 Blue Springs Road, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, December 19, 2001, at Pine Ridge Care Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Hardin was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Shelby J. and Laura Pierce Oliver. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Hopkins and Earlene Buckles. Mrs. Hardin was a member of Blue Springs Christian Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Grant C. Hardin, of the home; a brother and sister-in-law, Gayle and Ona Faye Oliver, Elizabethton; a sister and brother-in-law, Ida Mae and Joe Rominger, Elizabethton; a half sister, Brenda Oliver, Elizabethton; five nieces, Margaret, Letta Jean, Donna, Marcia and Loretta; and two nephews, Steve and Jimmy. Visit our Web site at www.Funeral- Plans.com/Tetrick HARDIN -- Funeral services for Georgia Pauline Hardin, 81, 827 Blue Springs Road, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, December 19, 2001, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, December 21, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace, with Mr. Richard Thomason, minister, officiating. Music will be under the direction of Sharon Oliver, soloist, and Donna Ellis, accompanist. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday, December 22, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Mack Collins, Rick Richardson, Lindsay Rash, Noel Church, Sam Ellis, Steve McNeil and Joseph Arnold. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Blue Springs Christian Church, Dr. Thomas Johnson, Dr. Robert Taylor and Dr. Jonathan Bremer. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Tetrick Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace.
