CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Andy H. Harding, 13 Jul 2003 ----¤¤¤---- Andy H. Harding Andy H. Harding, age 82, of West Elk Avenue, Stanley Trailer Park, Lot #20, Elizabethton, died Sunday, July 13, 2003 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a brief illness. A native of Sullivan County, Mr. Harding lived most of his life in Carter County. He was the son of the late Witt and Maggie Cole Harding. Mr. Harding was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired concrete finisher and a former employee of North American Rayon Corporation. He was a member of the Watauga Masonic Lodge #622 F & AM. Mr. Harding is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Victoria Rosenbaum Harding; a stepdaughter, Charlotte Sue Tyree; a son, Roy Harding; four brothers, Frank Hardin, Bill Hardin, Sam Hardin and Robert "Bob" Hardin, and three sisters, Ida Laws, Bertha Beldsoe and Anna Bell Montgomery.. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Charlotte Harding, Lonnie R. and Teresa Harding, all of Elizabethton; three daughters and one son-in-law, Judy Mosier, of Elizabethton; Ruby Harding, of Watauga; Patsy and Bobby Rainbolt, of Elizabethton; three sisters, Mae Blair and Nellie Ward, both of Elizabethton; Sarah Blanton, of Big Stone Gap, Va.; 21 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, and a special niece, Kathy Baker, of Elizabethton. HARDING -- The funeral service for Andy H. Harding, age 82, of West Elk Avenue, Stanley Trailer Park, Lot #20, Elizabethton, who died Sunday, July 13, 2003, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2003 in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Colbaugh and Rev. Eric Wright officiating. Music will be under the direction of Ted Puckett, soloist. A Masonic service will be accorded by the Watauga Masonic Lodge #622 F & AM following the funeral service. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July16, 2003 at the Grindstaff Cemetery, Elizabethton. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Junior Stanley, Fellow Masonic Brothers, friends and neighbors, Joe Coffman and Guy Hoilman. Everyone will meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
